Combat takes place in real time in 3D and can take place when you are on or off line. Combat is handled by player configurable AI. There are a few types of damage that can be dealt in combat:

  • Explosive (torpedoes, etc.)
  • Kinetic (bullets, artillery slugs, etc.)
  • Melting (lasers, etc.)
  • Boiling/Sublimative (plasma, etc.)
