How do I register for this forum so that if I do post it shows up as something other than anonymous?

You need to make an account with wikidot (our host) by clicking the create account link in the upper right. Its the same place as the log in link.

I saw that but when I clicked on it, I thought is was for starting my own site or something like that.

Can we have links to the Dev, Modeler, Code, and Music sites on the FG homepage?
This would make it easier to navigate, and/or apply as a modeler/coder/composer/dev.

Technically, you don't. You have a wikidot account which is all you need. Site membership is restricted to those who have permission to edit the site content. It's somewhat strange and a bit confusing I know, but it does work. I may try to rationalize it a bit in the future to explicitly allow site members and moderators separately.

oh, and welcome to the site. Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy the pretty pictures. New release estimated in 1-2 months to play with.
